	At Health Vision Inc, it is our goal through the use of acupuncture, herbs, nutrition and other modalities to enable you to live a long, healthy, pain-free life. We employ a complete medical system that is capable of treating acute and chronic diseases, traumas and pain, infectious and internally generated diseases as well as serving as a high form of prevention and energy balancing. The earliest written account of acupuncture dates from about 200 BC in the “Nei Jing”, (The Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine) which is the oldest comprehensive medical text book in existence. The long proven use of acupuncture ranges from preventing and treating disease, to relieving pain and even anesthetizing patients for surgery.
At Health Vision, we follow the philosophy of the Dao and recommend applying moderation to all areas of one’s life. We also believe that harmony and balance are the root to good health. Harmony and balance are the basis for yin and yang, the opposing, but complementary forces central to all Chinese thought; yin and yang are the opposites which make the whole. They cannot exist without each other and nothing is ever completely one or the other. There are varying degrees of each within everything and everybody. When the yin and yang are out of balance in our body or emotions, illness may result.

At Health Vision Inc., we believe in the holistic benefits of acupuncture in concert with other modalities such as herbology, nutrition, and others that we employ. We never treat illness as a set of isolated symptoms, but rather as a disharmony in the entire mind/body/spirit system. In the treatment of illness or disharmony, the use of acupuncture stimulates the acupuncture points which counteract the imbalance, resulting in a balancing, healing, strengthening effect on the energy system that enables the restoration of health or prevention of the development of disease. The use of herbal medicine works in synergy with the acupuncture treatments and provides a faster healing power. This synergy allows to deal with very difficult to treat illnesses with excellent results.

Especially powerful is Alexander’s commitment to treat every patient and their problems as the unique and personal situation that it is. He devotes substantial time to each patient in order to fully understand and diagnose his or her condition according to Oriental Medicine. He then develops a unique and personalized treatment plan for the patient. He describes the recommended length and course of the treatment for optimum results. Along with his own commitment, Alexander asks for the commitment of his patients in the treatment plan so they may be partners in working together for the return of their highest state of health possible.
